The stove is where most people cook their food. Spills and accidents happen here quite often, but they rarely get picked up because the surface is always warm. Fear not, as these tips will allow you to ensure that you will get your stove to be as clean as possible.
If your stove is an older model, wait for the coils to be cool, then remove them and clean them and the area underneath them. Make sure the area is clean and dry before you put the coils back on and reuse them again. A simple sponge, with soap and water, will work just fine for most messes.
A scouring pad, like steel wool, will make quick work of any built on stains on your stove or coils. Be careful though, some stoves will scratch if you use this type of cleaner. Check the manual that came with your stove if you are not sure.
Some stoves come with a special type of liquid to be used with the stove when cleaning. This type of liquid is specifically made for your stove, so don't be afraid to use it. If you use other cleaners, you may leave unsightly marks on your stove.
