The refidgerator is a place where you store all your food. You throw anything and everything in there: leftovers, tonight's food, and groceries. Unfortunately, by continually just throwing items in there, you can create a large mess. The tips below will help you to make sense from the mess in your refidgerator.
Leftovers are a great way to keep what you didn't eat from a previous meal. Unfortunately, they can get pushed to the back of the fridge if you don't eat them right away. They could then sit there, unnoticed, for a long time. Try to eat leftovers the next day, or just not keep them if you don't plan on eating them. This will save you trouble later on - and they won't smell, either.
Food usually leaves crumbs or residues on whatever it touches. Over time, these crumbs can start to build in your fridge or leave streaks everywhere. Use a wet sponge to remove the streaks and crumbs to prevent germs and bacteria from thriving on the leftovers. Then bacteria won't get into what you want to eat.
The fridge was meant to be a means of strategically holding all your food. To keep it organized, use the meat drawer, the veggie drawer, the egg holders, and the other features built into your fridge. If you are unsure what your fridge does do for you, take a read in your manual, as you might find an interesting feature which may make your life easier.
