Most people believe CDs can only hold programs or games. In reality, a CD (or DVD) is a means of storage in electonic form which are very safe. CDs can also help to save space on your computer as well. Here's how to utilize the power of this storage device:
You can put anything on a CD and then burn it. It will then be saved to the CD forever, as long as the CD remains intact and readable. When burning your CD, make sure to tell your burning software that you want to burn a data CD. The computer will take care of the rest.
Everyone has very important projects. If you burn versions of important projects, you will save yourself much frustration and can revert to earlier versions if necessary. They can also be told to not allow anyone to steal your creative works.
Files can take up a large amount of disc space. You can burn MP3 or audio CDs from your computer to have another copy to listen on other devices. Then you can delete the music from your computer, and reclaim the space for other purposes. This method is extremely helpful if you listen to music on MP3 players or stereos, rather than your computer. If you listen to music on your computer, delete what you don't listen to.
CDs have a hole in the middle of them. You can use this feature to your advantage by putting all you CDs on special CD towers or stacks to conveniently have all your CDs in one place. This makes them easy to find, and also frees up space in the real world.
