Most entertainment rooms have at least one or multiple recliners in them. They serve as comfort, and also as a place to wage wars against digital enemies. Unfortunately, the recliner also draws food and drinks to it as well. You need to be aware this will happen. These tips will create a clean-friendly recliner.
If you have the coordination to build things, you can make a tray and install it directly onto your recliner (or nearby). For those who aren't so mechanically inclined, a simple tray will work wonders. You can place all your food on this tray, and put it aside when you are not using it, reducing the chance for accidents to happen with food and drinks.
The recliner may take up a lot of space, which makes people not want to move it once it is in a settled location. If left in one spot for too long, the recliner can hide food and dust. Moving it will allow you to see what has piled up underneath it, allowing you to see what you need to clean.
If you place a towel or comforter on your recliner, you're protecting the materials from harm. In the rare event you have chocolate or drinks while on the recliner, you can prevent melting or condensation stains from happening on the recliner, as they will affect the towel only. A thick towel or comforter, which you don't mind getting dirty, will serve best for this purpose and is much easier to clean than a whole recliner.
