Your electronics are just as essential to the game room as what goes on in there. Being so, you must take extra care of these electronics to make sure they stay in working conditon. Here are some useful tips to help you achieve this.
Liquids and electronics do not go well together, as liquids can damage electronics via short-circuiting them. Being so, make sure that liquids of any type stay as far away from your electronics as possible.
Everything has its place - the same is true for electonics. Keep easily breakable electronics away from people, and not on high shelves, as they could fall. If you decide to put electronics on something, make sure the holder can take the weight. It doesn't make sense, for example, to put a 50lb TV on a stand that can only hold 20. The holder will just fall, causing your multi-thousand dollar investment to be in pieces around you.
Children find a way to get to things they are not supposed to be able to touch. They may unnessecarily change passwords or destroy small parts of your equipment without even knowing it. Place everything with either passwords, locks, or away from kids' reach to ensure that your equipment will stay safe and provide fun for you and anyone around you.
