Vacuuming may be a chore you have to do, but it's not as bad as people make it out to be. These tips can take the bite out of this chore.
Most modern vacuums have a nozzle. This tool allows you to get to hard-to-reach places, like high shelves or behind corners. You'll get the job accomplished better if you use the nozzle, as you'll be removing dust and allergens which have been accumulating without you knowing about them.
Most people leave the vacuum in a place where they don't want to see it. When messes occur, they are less apt to clean it up since the vacuum was not nearbby. If the vacuum is nearby, and a spill happens, you can get at the the vacuum quickly. Then you can prevent the spill from staining your furniture.
In the living room, which is usually large, you really need to have a path decided as to where you will vacuum. If you don't, you may end up tracking the dirt from your feet on areas you just vacuumed. Try to make a path in which you aren't stuck in a corner as well, as this is never a good thing to have happen.
