You are seeing: Home > Bedroom > Tip #1: Making Sense from the Closet
The closet is another stronghold for clutter. People just throw items in there, so they won't have to think about them until they are needed again. The tips below will help you turn that closet into sparkling splendor, or at least presentable.
A large contributor to clutter in the closet is clothing. It is usually sprawled out all over the place. You can get space back by folding clothes and stacking them to regain horizontal space. You can also take this a step further and move them to a hanger to get them off the floor.
Simply putting shelves up can save you some space. Shelves are very convenient, as they can be put up nearly anywhere. You can also place a large amount of clothes on them as well, or just simply junk. They are very handy for increasing horizontal space in a very small area.
Boxes are magical in the fact that you can store a lot of random items and stuff in them, which will help to remove clutter. You can also stack these boxes on top of each other to create even more space.
A main reason how closets get to be overpacked with clutter is that nothing is ever thrown away. If you sepearate what you have in your closet by what you need from what you don't, you'll find that the closet will be much more roomier. And you can also give the items you don't need to charity or sell them at a tag sale.
