FAQ's on FitnessEdge

Q: What is the FitnessEdge?
A: FitnessEdge in itself is an artificial intelligence program installed on a computer chip that is placed into the TotalPackage. It drives the whole system and is the guiding force used to help the user advance in their workout routine.

Q: Where did the idea for FitnessEdge come from?
A: FitnessEdge was first inspired by an accident Jebidiah Jones had while at home on a gym. He overexerted himself to the point where he could not move. There was no one around to help him. After resting, he went right away to developing an automated system that would be used to help avoid problems like this.

Q: How does FitnessEdge actually work?
A: The FitnessEdge itself is a computer program that monitors a user and the physical equipment itself. It functions just like a human physical trainer, working with the operator to maximize their experience. It senses when the user is about to overexert him/herself, and when this happens, will prompt for an override code or will shut down the system.

Q: Will FitnessEdge impede my progress as an athlete?
A: No. Nautilus has engineered FitnessEdge to push the user as much as their body can take them before harm is done to the him/her. As long as the user can realize that rest is an appropriate part into becoming physically fit, then the user will not be hampered.

Q: What happens if I continually use the override code?
A: As long as the user can handle the intense workout after entering the override code, there will be nothing wrong with the override code. If the code is overabused, FitnessEdge will lock down the system for a while, allowing the user to rest.
