KIPP:Indy is a charter school in Indianapolis that provides a safe environment for children to learn. As the school continues to grow, they needed to showcase their growth and commitment to providing quality education for the community.
This project focused on using their commitment to the community and a desire to do more to transform their site.
What I learned
It is important to continue to engage and meet and exceed expectations of the client team
A UX designer should be able to understand and talk about the different disciplines of design
Be prepared to do research into the technology when customizing is essential to creating a good experience
Be more detailed and specific when designing with non-collocated teams
It is important to plan how to transition design ownership between the original team and the client team
